Copper and its contribution

Owing to its versatile function, copper is in terms of quantity – after iron and zinc – the most important trace element in the human body. Only about 5 percent is found in the blood – the largest copper concentration is found in the liver.

The bioavailability of copper from foods depends very much on the composition of our diet and fluctuates between 35 and 70 percent. For this reason, nutritional supplementation with Kupfergluconat® can make a valuable contribution to your health.
