At Wörwag Pharma Production (WPP) in Pöcking on Lake Starnberg, around 60 employees reliably take care of the production of various solid oral dosage forms. WPP covers all standard production processes, including granulation, drying, tableting, coating and packaging. The manufacturing processes are accompanied by quality control, amongst others by our in-house laboratory, from incoming goods inspection to final product release.
The site in Upper Bavaria can look back on a long history and tradition: founded back in 1938, the company produced as Mauermann-Arzneimittel KG on a contract basis for customers, including Wörwag Pharma, from the 1980s onwards. The site has now been an integral part of the Wörwag Pharma Group since 2023.
