Application area

Prevention of vitamin C deficiency, if sufficient supply cannot be secured through a healthy diet. Therapy of vitamin C deficiency diseases.

Dosage and use

Vitamin C deficiency: adults get 200-1,000 mg ascrobic acid per day until the symptoms ease. This equals half a tablet to one tablet of Vitamin C 1000 Filmtabletten per day.

Prevention of vitamin C deficiency, if not possible to supply 50-200 mg ascorbic acid per day through a healthy diet, equates to half a tablet Vitamin C 1000 Filmtabletten every second or third day.

The tablets have to be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. Duration of the administration depends on the clinical picture and the laboratory diagnostic parameters.

One tablet contains 1,000 mg ascorbic acid. Excipient: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), corn starch, lactose-monohydrate, talcum, hypromellose. For other ingredients, please refer to the direction for use.

Vitamin C 1000 Filmtabletten are easily digestible thanks to their compacted dosage form. The tablets can be divided easily and allow individual dosing.
